Serdang – A student from Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), Nazmin Nordin, won the Mister Planet Malaysia 2015 competition, and appointed as ambassador to the Forest Research Institute Malaysia (FRIM) to become an icon of youth in environmental issues.
Nazmi, 25, a master of Nuclear Medicine (Molecular Imaging) student, also won Mister Photogenic, Mister Intelligence categories and took home RM3, 000, a trophy and a sash from Malaysia United Nations Pageant (MUNP). He will also represent Malaysia in a contest in Madrid, Spain.
He added the competition organized by MUNP, will motivate the youth to actively engage in environmental conservation which is now also a serious issue for the country.
Meanwhile, Mister Planet Malaysia 2015 was organized by Malaysian United Nations Pageant, managed by its director Azman Bosri and the winner of the competition will compete with 60 other contestants from around the globe in Madrid, Spain, next year.
